The apartments
Apartamentos El Petromar was originally the house of a local fisherman. The present owner, the son of a Mogan fisherman has renovated and improved it, converting it into five apartments. In the original fishing village, it has a roof terrace with unrivalled views over the surrounding area, and day-long sunshine.
Apartamentos El Petromar is an example of the persistence of local people who don't want the ownership of their land or houses to pass to others. They value immensely the hard work of their forebears who built the houses, carrying all the materials by hand, and wish to retain their identity and continuing presence here, adapting to the changes brought about by development.
These one and two bedroom apartments are fully equipped, including new kitchens and bathrooms and there is a marvellous view from their terraces.

We also have a small boat which can be used for fishing or to visit places along the coast with crystal clear water and secluded beaches not accessible by road.
Restaurant
The owner of the apartments also runs the longest-established restaurant in Playa/Puerto de Mogan, serving delicious fresh fish, seafood, meat dishes and paella . . . all washed down with Canarian wines, Riojas, Rivera de Dueros . . . and as a finishing touch, live Canarian folk-music and South American, Spanish and Sixties music . . . and there are great discounts for our clients!
